How does Shop Pay work?
First time customers click on the Shop Pay branded button at checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your email to log in or sign up. Once you enter your email, add your phone number and get a text verification code to enter.
Next input all your shipping and payment information and click "complete purchase".
Now you have a Shop Pay account, in the future you can click on the Shop Pay button at checkout, and all that information will auto-populate making it quick and easy for you to place an order.

Fast Checkout - as a customer you can check out quickly on any Shopify store using your Shop Pay account.
Security - Shop Pay utilitzes SMS text verification with your mobile number to make sure it's really you checking out. Plus all the information is store securely on Shopify PCI-compliant servers.
Order Tracking - you can track your order in real-time using the Shop App and get notifications through the whole process.
Shop Pay Installments - you can buy now and pay later on all your purchases. Plus you can keep up to date on payments with the Shop App.
What are Shop Pay Installments?
With Shop Pay Installments (powered by Affirm) you can split your purchases into seperate payments making it easier to snag a pair of boots or a killer jacket!
You have two options when using Shop Pay Installments:
- Four interest-free payments every two weeks for orders between $50 and $999.99
- Monthly payments (over three, six or tweleve months) made on orders between $150 and $17,500 with a 10% to 36% annual percentage rate, or APR
Once you choose an installment option Afirm will walk you through all the terms and agreements. It's a great way to buy now and pay later - plus it won't impact your credit score.
